Hello!

My name is Everette “Neil” Wilson, Jr. My education includes a Mechanical Engineering (ME) degree from Old Dominion University, 33 years’ experience as a Naval Nuclear Engineer and 20+ years of experience as a Residential Design Planner (RDP).

My specialty is creating customized house plans.  Design packages are developed using 3D modeling techniques, with a focus on structural integrity, code compliance, design functionality, quality and budget.  House Plans by Design LLC is a licensed RDP Service, authorized to design single- and two-family homes, townhouses and multi-family dwellings, not exceeding three stories (VA Law § 54.1-402).
